Chongqing Banan Sports Complex Renovation

The project is characterized by sports and commercial activities, and is composed of a number of complex commercial buildings and cultural and sports venues which can hold international and domestic high-end basketball, ice hockey, interpretation and other cultural and entertainment activities and group sports events.
The planning and design of the site connects the north end - residential and south end - a metro station to a fluid space and circulation guiding flow of people, forming a central pedestrian corridor about 30 meters wide and 500 meters long. The outdoor space renovation reutilizes the old facilities and ground surface to maximize the ever-existed trace of the site while integrating with new ornaments and modern landscape elements through the space.
